A promotion video embraces a band's core message, acting as a powerful brand identifier. By creating a visual story that aligns with the bands purpose, style and theme, artists can build a loyal long term fanbase, increase engagement and effectively differentiate themselves from other artists in their specific genre industry.

The 30-second horizontal reel was designed as a symbolic promotional video to visually communicate the message and purpose of the band Overflow (formerly Refill). The video shows a cup filled with grape juice that gradually overflows until it is cleansed and becomes water, it acts as a metaphor for spiritual transformation.

The use of grape juice symbolises impurity or the weight of past struggles, while the transition to clear water represents cleansing, renewal, and salvation. This visual narrative directly reflects the band’s mission to create music that communicates freedom, healing, and new beginnings. The overflowing element reinforces the idea that transformation is not limited but abundant, aligning with the concept of being filled beyond capacity.

The decision to rename the band to Overflow strengthens this message. The name itself conveys the idea of being abundantly filled, particularly with God’s goodness, which continuously pours out and impacts others. This creates a clear and memorable brand identity, making the band’s purpose immediately recognisable to its target audience.

The short 30-second format is appropriate for platforms such as Instagram Reels, increasing the likelihood of audience engagement and share-ability.
