Q. What was the inspiration behind your bands name, Refill?
A. The name Refill comes from the idea of being refilled by God. We were inspired by the following verse from Habakkuk chapter 3 verse 3 "His glory covered the heavens and his praise filled the earth."
It shows that when God comes, His glory fills everything. The idea behind Refill comes from that truth. Just like the earth is filled with HIs glory, our hearts can also be filled with HIs glory. No matter how empty or lost someone feels, Jesus can give a new start and refill our lives with His presence.
Q. When did you first realise music was more than just a hobby for you?
A. The moment I realised that music was more than just a hobby for me was when I started spending entire days and nights in the studio working on different projects without even noticing. I would end up forgetting to eat or sleep.
Q. Which artists or bands have shaped your wound the most?
A. A great help and influence for me has been my uncle, Alin Timofte. Ever since I was little, I admired his energy and passion, and that inspired me and gave me the courage to follow this path.
Q. What do you want your audience to feel when they hear your music?
A. My desire is for the audience to feel the presence of the Lord, and whenever I am on stage, for Him to be seen because all the praise and honour belongs to Him.
Q. Which platforms are most important for promoting your work?
A. At the moment, the most important platforms for promotion are social media and streaming platfomrs. Instagram, TikTok and YouTube help us reach new audiences, while Spotify and other streaming platforms are essential for distributing and helping people discover our music.
